Welcome to our home. The family's dream began in the fall of 2003. God has provided a beautiful way of life and we share it with the most amazing people and animals. We have committed our lives and farm to our Lord, Jesus Christ. We hope that when you are here you can feel his presence and know that you are part of something greater than what our eyes can see!
Mark, is the rock of the farm. He is the build it and fix it guy. He also works for Toyota Manufacturing. He was raised on a large scale boarding farm and grew up riding his pony Napoleon.
Jody runs the daily farm operations. She has been involved with horses since the age of 8. She has served as a volunteer and advisor for Clarke, Greene and Warren County 4H. Currently, the treasurer of the Warren County 4H Horse Advisors Committee, county camp committee and advisor. Jody is Advanced Certified as a Equine Specialist thru the Eagala Program. In 2010, She will return to the show arena after a five year break while building the farm and helping children realize their dreams. Jody's passion is the Rocky Mountain Horse and plans to return to their breed shows.
Mark and Jody have two boys. Together the family enjoys riding their horses and going on horse vacations with close friends. The boys participate in 4H showing hogs, goats, steers and horses. Jody and her youngest (age 9) compete in Extreme Trail Challenges and competitive trail rides. The family is now involved Youth Rodeo events.
We are very proud that the farm hosts a ministry project named The River of Hope Ranch. In 2009 a new log cabin office was built on the farm to serve this mission. ROH uses a licensed clinical counselor with a masters degree, a equine specialist and of course the horse to build a unique environment for hurting children and families to find hope and healing. Please refer to the counseling page for more information.
