This camp is focused on the beginning rider from age 5 to 12. Open to 12 campers. This year marks our seventh year of offering this camp. We pride ourselves on a offering a well rounded christian based experience. The following are just a few of the activities that the kids will experience
* Safety
* Bible lesson
* Equine Careers (guest speakers)
* Handling the horse
* Yoga and stretching to improve riding and physical safety
* Grooming (including breed and discipline standards)
* Tack and Equipment
* Interactive Horse Anatomy and skillathon
* Introduction to Pony Club of America and 4H
* Basic riding skill up to a trot
* Mounted games
* Trail ride
* Equine Assisted Learning (group sessions to encourage mentoring, social and problem solving)
* other games and activities
Cost is $250 includes book materials, beverages and snack. Hours 9 till 3 daily.
Camper needs boot with 2 1/4 inch boot. If have helmet please bring.
